Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion Lifetime Rewards Guide

If the idea of having your sims travel to far off locations doesn't interest you, there may still be a reason to purchase the Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion pack, and that is for the extended set of lifetime rewards which, without exaggeration, I can say truly do revolutionize the game.

For instance, Inappropriate But In A Good Way

This is a brilliant, potentially game changing life time reward. You know how you'll be out visiting other sim homes and your sim will be hungry, or sleepy or dirty, but taking a shower, making a meal or taking a nap in the host sim's bed will all get you thrown out of the house? The 'Inappropriate But In a Good Way' lifetime reward means that other sims no longer care how inappropriate you are! Mooch for all eternity, they won't care!

Sims 3 World Adventures Makes 1 in 5 Gamers Want To Punch EA's Face

So I recently purchased The Sims 3, World Adventures, and like a fool, I went on the EA Games forums for the Sims 3 to see how people were getting on. What I found was an insane litany of wailing and gnashing of teeth as disgruntled Sims 3 players pointed out over and over and over again that the expansion pack occasionally worked, mostly didn't, often produced corrupted save files, routinely threw the player out of the game and otherwise made the baby Jesus cry.

Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion: China!

Sims 3 World Adventures, China has just been unveiled in a teasing, preview sort of way, and I think that I am not alone in saying, wow, this looks amazing! There were more than a few fears about the place prior to this release, one of them being that the new locations wouldn't be anything special. I think it is safe to say that EA has proved the nay sayers wrong on this one. Their dungeons of graphics artists must be full to overflowing, the cracking of overseer's whips breaking the air every other second.

Sims 3 Multi Player | World Adventures Expansion

As the release of the expansion pack draws ever nearer, EA teases us with promised of added functionality. Using the new 'basement creation' tool, we'll be able to build basements which will function as tombs. Tomb objects, such as Sarcophagi, in which you can Woohoo, or out of which a mummy may spring to curse you, Floor Switches, which can activate or deactivate behaviors, Treasure Chests, which you can apparently fill with treasures, Torch Levers, which may sometimes activate behaviors and sometimes not, and many more fun objects.

The Sims 3 World Adventures Expansion Pack Video

I like the fact that, by the looks of this video, you'll actually be able to go and explore inside the pyramids. One of the (few) disappointments of the Sims 3 is that you can only look inside a few of the popular public buildings, such as the Library, and the Community Gym, but not any of the workplaces, or the school or what not. How interesting and worthwhile the Sims 3 World Adventures actually turns out to be depends on how much it really opens up the Sims 3 world and if it adds any depth to it. If it is simply more superficial content without any expanded playability, then it will be a temporary boon at best.
